Mauricio Cardona is a partner with the Davillier Law Group. He has lived in Sandpoint with his wife and two sons since 2018.

Mr. Cardona received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Iowa College of Law where he received the University of Iowa’s Philip G. Hubbard Human Rights Award for his work to establish the Center for Worker Justice. Mr. Cardona holds a master’s in business administration from the University of Colorado and a bachelor’s degree in International Business from Bradley University. Before entering private practice Mr. Cardona worked as an immigration attorney for a Catholic not-for-profit and as a prosecutor. Currently Mr. Cardona also sits on the boards of Idaho’s Commission on Hispanic Affairs, Sandpoint Kiwanis Club, and the Community Resource Envision Center.”

Andrew Drexel made Idaho his home in June of 2022 when he joined Davillier Law Group as an associate attorney. Andrew earned his Juris Doctorate from Baylor University School of Law, and he received his Bachelor of Arts in Classical Languages from Sewanee: The University of the South. In addition to law, he has a background in screenwriting and banking. As a native of The Great State of Texas, he was drawn to the North Idaho ethos of liberty and community, and he cares deeply about art and rhetoric, the American Constitution, and civic literacy. Andrew met and married Jessica in North Carolina, and they attend a local Protestant church in the Sandpoint area.

Allen Shoff is an associate with the Davillier Law Group, practicing in the areas of civil and commercial litigation, constitutional law, government law, and land use and real estate. Mr. Shoff received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Idaho College of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Hillsdale College. After completing his legal studies, Mr. Shoff served for approximately five years as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in Canyon County, Idaho, with two years as criminal prosecutor and three as a civil attorney.

Mr. Shoff is also the co-founder of an Idaho-based web development firm, Sugar Apple Marketing. He is an active parishioner at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Sandpoint, where he directs the traditional “schola” choir at the 8:30 AM Sunday mass. He and his wife and five children couldn’t be happier to live and work in Sandpoint, and to help build a school focused on instilling a love of goodness, truth, and beauty in students and families in the area.

Tawny Macdonald grew up in California. Her family moved to southern Idaho when she was in high school. She quickly fell in love with Idaho, its people and its mountains. After receiving her B.A. in Liberal Arts from Boise State University and earning her teaching credentials she made her way to Sandpoint with her husband. They have been married 14 years and have two children, Rowin is almost 9 and Manny is 6. 

She started her career in the Boundary County School District in 2010. She taught Kindergarten, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade until 2019. She currently teaches various subjects at the homeschool Academy including horticulture and theater. She has been an educator there since 2020, and she homeschools her boys, too.

Teaching is her God given talent. Apart from teaching she enjoys backpacking, gardening, cooking, trail running, biking, camping, and most things outdoors. Her greatest love is JESUS and spreading His love everywhere she goes.
