Homeschool Classes: Circuitry and Ham Radio

Aug 10, 2024

Circuitry and Ham Radio is a class in the K-12 Mechanical Arts program we’re piloting at Bonner Classical Academy. In this class for Grammar 3-5, students will learn the science of electricity and circuits through hands on lessons and labs. The study of electrical currents transitions naturally to the science of ham radio operations, electricity, and sound waves. Students will receive supplies including a circuitry kit and ham radio book, and ONE day of instruction from aerospace engineer, Mr. Mike Cupples.

Students enrolled 4 and 5 days at the academy are automatically enrolled in this class at no extra charge.

Classes begin September 5, 2024 and end June 5, 2025. Tuition is $675 for the year, paid in monthly installments. Tuition includes all books and materials needed for class.

UPDATE: Circuitry and Ham Radio will meet ONLY on Tuesdays from 1:40-2:40. Please drop off students at 1:35 and pick up between 2:45 and 2:55.
